The Trip To Te Papa

Kia Ora, Yesterday my class Room 3 went on a trip to Wellington to go to Te Papa. On the bus I sat next to my best friend Mauatua. She felt sick on the bus, but later on she didn't feel sick. After that  we sang songs. When we got to Te Papa we had to get into groups. My group was Mauatua, Lia, Ella - Jaye, Lexi, Jaye, Jessica, those where the people that where in my group when we got to Te Papa.

My group went to the earthquake house in the nature place. When we got to the earthquake house there was a long line of people waiting to go into the house. After we waited we got to go in. It was kind of  boring in the house. after we finished we left to go to the Gallipoli exhibition.

We got to go to the Gallipoli. Gallpoli was really fun because the big sculptors where really cool they looked so real. I really liked the lady crying because we heard what she was saying, and we could see the writing on the wall.

After we finished in Gallipoli. We got to see the Toi Art. It was so amazing, a lady told us how it was made and how long it took to make.

After we went to see the Toi Art, we left Te Papa to go to Capital E. When we got to Capital E a lady told us about Capital E then we got to make are own sound with a buddy. My buddy was Mauatua me and Mauatua choose to do hip hop sounds. It was kinda hard finding the sound that matches with the beat, but it was really fun making your own sounds. After that we got to see other peoples sounds that they made.

then we went back to school, I had a really fun time.

  1. Hi its Logan. I like the picture you added because it has lots of colour. The picture reminded me of when I went there and took a picture like that. Maybe next time you could put the picture at the bottom.
